For the second straight season and fourth time in five years, the Great Oak CA boys won the sweepstakes race team title at the Woodbridge Classic, prevailing by an 85-184 margin over Newbury Park CA at the SilverLake Sports Complex in Norco.  Gabe Abbes was the top finisher for the Wolfpack, taking eighth at 14:17.5. Tyler Tickner placed 11th (14:22.2) and Chris Verdugo was 25th (14:37.5) for Great Oak, which ran the fastest team time in meet history at 72:36, breaking the 2013 record of 72:46 set by Arcadia CA at Estancia High.
