Luis "Gio" Gudiel, a senior at Hacienda Heights Wilson High in California, won his boys varsity white division race by producing the fastest 3-mile performance among all male competitors Friday, clocking 14:57.8 at the 40th Woodbridge Cross Country Classic presented by ASICS at SilverLakes Sports Complex in Norco, Calif.
